Admission Process
We have a four phase application process:
Phase 1
Attending an
information session at The H.O.P.E. Project or a prescheduled offsite location is
REQUIRED
. We will
NOT
accept an application from a candidate without attending the information session. We will confirm your attendance by the sign-in sheet.
Phase 2
Take the TABE Exam, a basic reading and math test. Candidiates must perform at the 9th grade or higher to be eligible.
The application process consists of submitting in a timely manner the candidate’s essay. We want to hear why you feel you should be selected into the program. The essay consists of two parts. Tell us
(1)
WHY YOU APPLIED TO THE HOPE PROJECT and
(2)
WHY YOU SHOULD BE SELECTED AS A HOPE PROJECT STUDENT. The essay should be written and saved in
Microsoft Word.
We expect your essay to be
at least 500 words
.
Email your application and essay as attachments to
cert@ccprep-academy.org
, once you take and pass the TABE Exam. DO NOT submit your essay in the body of the email.
Any application received after deadline will
NOT
be considered, for the upcoming class.
Phase 3
ONLY the applications and essays selected will be contacted via email to schedule an over-the-phone interview.
